Kathmandu, January 22. Prime Minister Sushila Karki has said that the House of Representatives elections scheduled for February 21 will be held on the same day across the country.
A few days ago, it was reported that Prime Minister Karki, while speaking at a public event, indicated that the election could be held in the Himalayan region in the next phase, citing weather as the reason.
But the Prime Minister, who went to Janak Shiksha Material Center today to inspect the ballot printing process, said that the election will be held on the same day. Karki said that she expected the weather to be favorable to hold the election on the scheduled date.
Prime Minister Sushila Karki, Home Minister Omprakash Aryal, Minister of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Acting Chief Election Commissioner Ram Prasad Bhandari and other commission officials reached Janak Shiksha Sampan Kendra Limited Bhaktapur while monitoring the printing of ballot papers under the first election system to be elected in 2082.
