In Nepal, our calendar and Facebook company registration process
Kathmandu, August 19. Amid government preparations to deactivate unregistered digital platforms in Nepal, 'Ham Patro' has started the registration process. The company has submitted a formal application for registration to the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology today.
Similarly, the government of Nepal has sent the list of details required for registration to Meta, the parent company of social media company Facebook, as per the notification published in Nepal.
Meanwhile, the Ministry issued a public notice today and instructed the Telecommunication Authority to immediately activate all social media platforms operating in Nepal if registered and to deactivate unregistered social networks.
According to the government's decision, any foreign or domestic social network, platform or app operating in Nepal will now have to complete the legal process.
According to the information, the registration process can be done through the official web portal of the ministry or by contacting the ministry.
